Veronica gabbing and at play

Veronica is quite the talker, just like her big sis and her mom and dad. She has many phrases, words, etc...but there is still quite a bit of jibberish in between and things that are only understandable by Mom and Dad. The sound of her voice has a real baby quality to it which makes her chatter all the more adorable. Some fun things she says of late...

*Look a me, look a me Mommy (she's very into showing us tricks and different things)

*Watch me Daddy

*Know what?

*Bella, listen, Bella timeout

*I take it away

*I be right back, I get another book (that was late summer...her first big one as far as sentences go)

A lot of her vocab/sentences seem to involve sassing or getting in trouble lately:) Today she got made about something while we were coloring at the table and she looked me square in the eye and said, "I hit Bella" and than proceeded to get off her chair and head towards her sister. I intercepted, but oh this little love, she's got a bully streak...it will pass, right????

Veronica's favorite things as far as play goes right now is to play with babies and to go on stroller rides. She is all about the stroller rides which either involve me giving her one or her pushing a baby in her little stroller. We are getting as many in as possible before the super cold weather arrives.

Veronica really loves playing with babies. This is something that Isabella had no interest in, until only recently (at age 4). She really loves holding her baby, talking to it, wiping it with wipes, putting it to bed..."Nappy baby, ok?"

When Isabella and Veronica play together, they are most often playing with the various assortment of Little People playsets (the house, the farm, the school, the manger, etc...) we have. They each pick a building that is all their own and than the res they must share.

Veronica also seems to have an early interest in Barbie dolls which I'm guessing is the influence of big sis.

Veronica loves to look at books...by herself. "I read book myself"! I can't even remember the last time she would sit long enough for me to read a book to her. When we play library at home, I read a book to Isabella while Veronica sits next to us flipping through a separate book...all by herself:)
